Katie & Michael grew up one mile apart in Winnetka, a small suburb of Chicago. Despite their proximity, they didn't cross paths until their first year at Colgate University. After countless run-ins in different cities, living next to each other their senior year, and becoming fast friends, they finally started dating in May 2016. The universe had conspired to bring these two together; it was love at first friendship.

Their friendship stood the test of five cities and five years of a long-distance relationship, three years of which they were almost 3,000 miles apart in New York City & San Francisco. They frequently rendezvoused in Park City, Utah, for the winter, where they enjoy skiing, hiking, hot tubbing, and the après ski life.

2021 saw Katie & Michael’s fifth anniversary and, with it, many changes. They finally landed in the same city, their hometown of Chicago, and they adopted their beloved pup, Goose (whom guests may be so lucky to steal a quick kiss from during the weekend festivities).

After over seven years of dating, Michael proposed to Katie in May of 2023 in San Gimignano, Italy.

They cannot wait to celebrate their big day with you in Park City, Utah, their treasured place.
